Terms and Conditions
These Terms govern use of Bracksy as a web app, installed PWA and mobile app wrapper. They explain what users can expect from the service and what Bracksy expects from users.
1. Operator and scope
Bracksy is operated by Mateusz Pieczynski. Contact details are available through mateuszpieczynski.pl.
Bracksy provides tools for creating and managing sports tournaments, entering scores, generating standings, sharing tournament links, managing profiles, friends, clubs, rivalries and subscriptions.
2. Key definitions
- Service means the Bracksy web app, PWA, mobile wrapper, APIs and related features.
- User means a person who accesses or uses Bracksy, whether signed in or viewing shared content.
- Account means a Bracksy user profile created through supported authentication methods.
- Tournament data means names, participants, scores, rounds, standings, visibility settings and related content entered into Bracksy.
- Pro means the paid subscription plan that unlocks additional limits or features where available.
3. Accounts and sign-in
Some features require sign-in through supported authentication methods such as Google or email magic link. You are responsible for keeping access to your email/provider account secure.
You must provide accurate information where required and may not impersonate another person, misrepresent affiliations or create accounts for abusive purposes.
4. User content and tournament responsibility
You are responsible for tournament names, player names, scores, comments, profile information and other content you enter or share through Bracksy.
Bracksy calculates schedules, standings and results based on the data provided by users. You should verify tournament setup and entered scores, especially for competitive or prize-based events.
5. Visibility, public pages and sharing
Tournament visibility can be private, unlisted or public where supported. Public tournaments may be visible in Discover. Unlisted tournaments can be accessed by anyone with the link. Private tournaments are intended for authorized users and invited participants.
If you share a tournament, profile or invite link, people with access to that link may see the information made available through that link.
6. Bracksy Pro, payments and cancellation
Bracksy may offer paid features through Bracksy Pro. Payments, checkout, billing portal and subscription processing are handled by Stripe.
Prices, limits and included features are shown in the app or pricing page before purchase. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
You can manage or cancel the subscription through the billing portal where available. Cancelling may leave Pro access active until the end of the paid billing period.
Refunds, taxes, invoices and consumer rights are handled according to applicable law and the payment flow available at the time of purchase.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Bracksy to:
- violate law, third-party rights or platform policies;
- upload unlawful, harmful, abusive, discriminatory or misleading content;
- attempt unauthorized access to accounts, tournaments, APIs, databases or infrastructure;
- interfere with service security, rate limits, monitoring or availability;
- scrape, resell or commercially exploit Bracksy data without permission;
- use the service in a way that disrupts other users or damages Bracksy.
8. Availability and changes
Bracksy aims to provide a reliable service, but availability is not guaranteed. The service may be interrupted by maintenance, hosting issues, third-party outages, network failures or product changes.
Features may be added, changed, limited or removed as the product develops. We try to avoid unnecessary disruption to existing tournaments, but users should not rely on Bracksy as the sole record for high-stakes events without their own verification.
9. Liability and disclaimers
Bracksy is provided as a tournament management tool. To the extent allowed by law, Bracksy is not responsible for incorrect scores entered by users, tournament disputes, event organization decisions, lost prizes, indirect losses or issues caused by third-party services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including consumer rights that apply to you.
10. Privacy, data export and account deletion
Personal data is handled according to the Privacy Policy. The profile area includes legal links, data export and account deletion features where available.
Deleting an account permanently removes the account and linked app data where technically possible, subject to limited backup, security, billing or legal retention requirements.
11. Changes and contact
These Terms may be updated as Bracksy evolves or legal requirements change. The updated date shows the current version.
Questions about these Terms can be sent through the contact channel available at mateuszpieczynski.pl.
